Working Lady!

Just wanted to post a little bit of information about what I have been up to lately. Back in June I went to Office Depot to get a strip of cork to hang on my office wall with my current listings. I have had 1 sheet of paper hanging on that cork ever since. On that one piece of paper there has only been 4 listings. 2 that sold in June and July and 2 that are still for sale. As I sat at my desk last night I laughed to myself as I updated my listings and thought to myself 2 months ago I only had 4 listings and thought this strip of cork will make do until I get so many they wont fit. Well I would say when you have 18 listings you need more cork. I have gotten fired up and I am making progress. I have teamed up with another agent from our office. His name is Emory Helms and we are kicking butt. We want to progress and become LAKE WYLIE and I would say we are well on our way! We are motivated and we are going to do what it takes. You can call us THE NEW LAKE WYLIE CENTURY TEAM! So as you can tell I am loving my job. Its great! I am able to be successful and still be at home a good bit too.

We have had a great day! We got up this morning and the boys went outside to wash my car and Albert's truck. I told them to expect a flood because my car hasnt been washed in months. Bricen has a runny nose today so he stayed home with Albert while I went to church. I came back home and picked him to go eat at the country club in York with my grandparents for lunch. We came home and we all took a nap! After our nap I got up and went to the grocery store. Our shelves were bare. Albert had supper ready when I got home. After supper Albert and Bricen went to get some movies. We love watching movies right now since all of our shows havent started for the fall. Bricen picked out Everyone's Hero. It was really good! It amazes me how Bricen will sit and watch a whole movie without getting up. We have gotten to where we watch a movie with that he has picked out on Sunday evenings. We have had a nice family day at home!

Lazy Day!

We have been so lazy today. We hung out around the house all morning. I picked up the house, Bricen played and Albert worked on the 4-wheeler. Bricen and I went to Hailey and Carter Jackson's birthday party at Bethelwoods. We ate hotdogs for lunch and had cake! They opened up their birthday presents. Bricen and I had to leave early. Albert wanted to take Bricen to the mud bog in Gaffney so Bricen had to have a nap and I had a baby shower to go to. Bricen fell asleep on the way home and when I tried to carry him in he woke up. Albert tried to get him to go back to sleep but he never would. The deal was he had to take a nap to go see the 4-wheelers play in the mud. Needless to say they just hung out around the house. I went to the baby shower and came home. Bricen was suppose to have spent the night at my parents and Albert and I were going to go out but after the afternoon Bricen had with a 10 minute nap he wasnt minding to well and Albert and I were both tired. I had 4 hours of sleep since I chose to scrapbook last night and my husband blames me for him being tired. He tries to wait up on me when I am out late. So we stayed home tonight and Bricen was in bed asleep by 8:00. Since the time changed in the spring his bedtime has been 9:00 but with a 10 minute nap he was out when the lights went out. So I am heading off to get ready to go to bed myself!

Scrapping

I am so far behind on Bricen's scrapbook that the girls are starting to get together again to play catch up! I got Pizza for supper and the boys a movie. We ate dinner, I bathed Bricen and off to April's I went. It felt good to have a little bit of time doing something that I LOVE! I got to her house aroun 8:00 and her house was wide open. They had 4 little boys spending the night and they had been in the pool and they were having a Panther's Party. They were all so cute. We were upstairs with the door shut and every once in awhile 1 or 2 of them would pop their heads in to tell us about the game or to tell Mrs. April that she needed to handle something. We sat behind the closed door and laughed at Derrick getting control over 5 little boys. It was very cute! One day we will be having sleepovers and I can't wait!
As April and I sat around and chatted Donette reminded us she had already completed a page. So we got busy. Before long she had to leave to get her Rylan to bed. I picked up the pace and got 21 pages done. Before going home I got to enjoy some birthday cake ice cream which is now my new favorite!!! I walked in the door at 1:30 this morning. Sometimes the things that moms want to do you have to make a scarafice for. I hope one day Bricen will enjoy looking back at his scrapbooks thinking about how much time I put into them and thats what I did with my time when I got away.

Mother's Morning out Party!

Bricen is going to be going to Clover Presbyterian Church starting Tuesday September 4th. He will go 3 days a week. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-11:30. He is very excited. There are 12 other children in his class. We went today for an hour so the kids could get to know one another and to get use to their surroundings. We actually know most of the kids in his class. I am a little nervous about him going. I love him being at my mom's and it makes me sad to think he is old enough to go somewhere else. They grow to fast!

Bricen had a lot of fun today playing with all the toys. He mostly wanted to play with the girl toys. He loved acting like he was putting on make-up with Chloe and pushing the baby in the stroller. When we had to leave he started fussing because he wanted to stay there. So I know he will have a lot of fun and learn a lot of great stuff! Hopefully he will learn how to share.

After we played we went with April, Champ and Chloe to eat lunch at the Eagle's Nest. We had a fun time!

Monster Bash!

We have had a great weekend! Bricen loves monster trucks and we got to take him to Charlotte to the dirt track to see the monster trucks last night. Wes, Amy, Sage, Troy, Jessica, Payton, Albert, Bricen and I all went. We got to go in to the Pit Party at 4:00 to take pictures with all the trucks. We wanted to get autographs but the line was really long and it was really HOT. So with the boys being the age they are they could careless. So we didnt get autographs. The boys had a blast. At first it was a little overwhelming for Bricen. His eyes were so big at first. I don't think he understood why those trucks looked so big in real life. He is use to watching them on TV and real life is nothing like the little trucks he plays with here at home. Bricen has loved monster trucks for sometime and we were really excited to get to take him to see them. It was a little warm but we didnt let the hot weather get us down.

After the pit party we went back to the truck and grilled hotdogs and had lots of other stuff to go with them. The boys had fun playing with their little monster trucks while we ate dinner and relaxed before the show.

We entered the gate a little before 7:00 and if you could have seen the eyes of those three little boys it would have melted your heart. -We get so caught up in our everyday living and we rush around so much but times like this make everything we work so hard for wonderful!

We had a great time watching the monster trucks and the crash cars race around the track. We took lots of pictures and we will remember it for a long time. Bricen tuckered out around 11:00 during the last truck. I think this was the first time Bricen has been up that late. Especially with only a 30 minute nap on the way. As we were leaving I saw the driver for the Avenger down along the fence talking with a few people so I ran over and to see if I could get an autograph and he had already turned to walk away so I yelled at him and he turned around and came back and signed a poster for Bricen. That was exciting for him to have a keepsake.

We got to the truck and changed him so he would be ready to go to bed once we got home and he woke up as Albert was putting him into his carseat. He went to crying he wanted to go see more trucks. He didnt understand they were over. He thought because he fell asleep we were leaving. As we were leaving the parking lot he was telling the truck night night. He feel back asleep once we got back on the interstate and we carried him in an put him to bed. He woke up at 5:30 AM crying to see more monster trucks. Needless to say this was a night he will long to remember. Daddy has promised we will go back!

TIRED!!!

We have had a busy week but what better way to end the week with a great night out to see Kenny Chesney. I was asked to go to the Kenny Chesney concert and drive a bunch of girls and they would pay for my ticket. So of course you know I wouldnt turn that down. We had a blast. We left Clover around 3:00 and we got home around 1:30 AM. I was wired and tired and didnt sleep good. Bricen is up ready to go as I am still here in the bed. More later.....
